What is Biltong?
Biltong is cured and dried meat. Not only is it absolutely delicious, it is high in protein and naturally low in sugar. At BUILT ON BEEF we vacuum seal all of our biltong packs. Because of this we have no need for the use of additional preservatives.

About Us
BUILT ON BEEF Ltd is a family run, soldier owned Beef Biltong company that encourages healthy snacking and leading a fit and healthy lifestyle in general.
My name is Rob. I started making biltong in my spare time as an alternative protein to powders and bars. My friends and family would often ask me for some for themselves and eventually through word of mouth and social media it led to a business.
Family run is not just a label with our business. Our three boys also help where they can. This is normally in the form of sticking labels on to pouches. So apologies if occasionally your label is a bit skew-whiff, just know that a very enthusiastic young man stuck that on for you.

PAYMENTS
Payments are made on site prior to dispatch. Payments can be made using card payments and PayPal. Only items 'In Stock' can be purchased. Should there be a problem with the stock of an item, we will contact you to organise a refund or replacement.
DELIVERY - Including BFPO advice
UK mainland delivery is charged at a flat rate of £2.95 with FREE delivery on all orders over £50.00. International delivery is charged at a flat rate of £8.45. We use Royal Mail 48, a second class service with a turnaround of around two working days but can take up to five. We have recently changed the way we make the Biltong which is now completely to order. A batch of beef will go into the drying room once a week, typically on the weekend. So orders placed after the weekend may only be started the following weekend, unless there is surplus stock available to fulfill your order. The Biltong takes around 4 full days to dry so please be aware your order will likely take at least one week to arrive. No parcels are sent over the weekend unless it has been pre-organised. For international orders, we use Royal Mail International Priority. The turnaround for this is advised to be within seven days. For BFPO orders select standard shipping. Ensure you add as much information as possible to avoid delivery delays. Include; Name, Rank, Number, FULL Unit Details and the BFPO number. For country ensure 'United Kingdom' is selected NOT the BFPO country. BFPO parcels are sent to the UK hub and prepared for dispatch out of country from there forward. Please be advised that clothing orders are also made on request and may take up to two weeks depending on demand. This may affect the time frame of your delivery date should your order also contain other items.
NOTE: BUILT ON BEEF Ltd is run by a serving member of the British Military. This may result in additional delays on orders being posted. If this is the case, we will endeavour to inform you of the delay with a proposed time frame.
RETURNS
BILTONG
Your right to cancel applies for 14 days upon receipt of your goods. This means you can return your order to us for a full refund. Please note, all returns must be returned unopened with all seals intact. We cannot issue a refund on any packs that have been opened.
CLOTHING
We have tried to display sizing guides as best as possible. Should you be unhappy with the fit of an item of clothing, we would be more than happy to replace the item. In this case the customer would be required to pay for the returned item but not the postage of the replacement.
